Is this legal or tax advice?
No. It's plain-English guidance, and we're careful about the line. Where a real determination is needed — a tax election, a dispute, a licensed call — we say so and point you to the right kind of professional instead of guessing.
I already have an idea. Is this still for me?
Yes. Your own idea remains the primary assessment. Alternatives are shown only if you asked to see them.
What does the free result actually include?
Your primary match or your own business idea, why it was shown and how it fits your answers, the main conditions or evidence gaps to consider, useful alternatives where applicable, and save and share access.
Does NetiyaPath give me a fit score?
NetiyaPath does not show a public numeric fit score. The report assesses the important factors separately — such as budget, time, skills, work style, customers and qualifications — and explains what fits, what needs caution and what cannot yet be judged responsibly.
How many business ideas will I get?
If you are looking for ideas, you will get one primary match and, where they are genuinely useful, up to four alternatives. We do not pad the result with weaker ideas just to reach a number. If you already have a business idea, that idea remains the primary assessment. Alternatives are shown only if you asked to see them.
What is in the US$29 report?
The Personalised Business Report takes the exact result you have already seen and adds a factor-by-factor assessment, startup economics and owner-income evidence where supported, practical barriers, a business-specific first-customer route, a personalised 12-week roadmap and the evidence and sources behind it. It is a US$29 one-off payment with no subscription — see Pricing.
Is the roadmap 90 days?
The paid report contains 12 weekly milestones organised into a practical starting sequence. It is described as a 12-week roadmap, not a guarantee that the business will be operating or profitable by a particular date.
Does NetiyaPath predict what I will earn?
No. Owner-income figures are shown only where the evidence is strong enough to support them. Where reliable evidence is not available, NetiyaPath says so rather than substitute revenue, wages or a modelled estimate.
Can my recommended business change after I pay?
No. The result is locked before checkout. The paid report deepens that same result and uses the same primary business and frozen alternatives.
Why pay when AI is free?
General-purpose AI can be useful for brainstorming and business questions. NetiyaPath combines your answers with researched business evidence, distinguishes facts from unknowns, checks important practical barriers where evidence is available, and turns the result you already saw into a finished personalised 12-week starting plan.
Which states do you cover?
You can pick any of the 50 states or DC in the quiz, and your matches and roadmap are written with your state in mind. But we don't yet have a verified, state-by-state registry of exact filing fees, forms and deadlines — that's real work we're building next. Until it exists, we won't state a specific state fee or deadline as fact; we'll tell you plainly to check the official source instead of guessing. More on this on How we keep this honest.
Do you file my LLC for me?
No — and you don't need a filing service to do it either. We stay generic on the exact filing mechanics until our state-by-state registry is verified, but the principle already holds: any filing fee goes straight to your state, never marked up or charged through us.
Is the AI going to make things up?
It's hard-guarded against it. Every dollar figure it writes has to trace back to real catalog data or your own answers — a strict check runs on every AI response before you see it, and a response that invents a number never reaches you. On anything state-specific — fees, forms, deadlines — it's required to stay generic and point you to the official source, because we don't have that registry verified yet. If we ever get something wrong anyway, it goes on our public corrections log.
How much time does this take?
The quiz takes about three minutes. Working through your report and roadmap afterward is entirely at your own pace.
What if I pick a business and change my mind?
Nothing locks you in. You can retake the quiz any time, free — the US$29 you paid is for the report you already have, not a subscription tracking your choice.
Is there anything to cancel?
No. The US$29 report is a one-off payment with no subscription, so there's nothing recurring to cancel.
Do you take commissions on the software or professionals you suggest?
No. If that ever changes, our honesty page will say so before anything else does.
I'm outside the US. Do you cover me?
Right now we're US-only — all 50 states and DC. If you're outside the US, email our support team and we'll let you know if and when that changes.
What if I'm just... scared I can't do this?
That's the most normal thing on this page. It's also why we lead with real costs and what still needs checking instead of hype — fear shrinks when things get specific. Start with the free quiz; it commits you to nothing except knowing more than you do now.
